Comment from Team Manager Mischa the day before the J. League 17th Sec match against Sagan Tosu
As we always have open training sessions, you all aware of how we are doing. In my opinion, I think our team has prepared really well for the match tomorrow, which we expect to be a very difficult one.
By looking at the past 16 league matches Sagan Tosu has played, there is no doubt that they are a very difficult team to play against. They have shown the quality that they can survive in the J1 League. Sagan Tosu has played every single match with full stretch efforts until the last moment without giving up. With such efforts, the team has won some of their matches but has lost others in the end. Regardless of the final match results, Sagan Tosu team players always put their best into every match.
As for our team, after losing the opening match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima, we have managed to have the record of 7 wins, 6 tied matches and 2 losses. I think we have been able to show a relatively stable performance so far. Tomorrow’s match marks the final match for the first half of the season. We will do our best to finish the first half of the season well. However, regardless of the result tomorrow, there is no doubt that we must continue to work hard to play every match at full stretch. Nonetheless, if we will be able to win the match tomorrow, it will give us some leeway in the second half of the season. I believe that our players also have the same understanding. In any case, we are united to play well in tomorrow’s match.
