Urawa Reds 2010 Kick Off Talk Show  

“2010 Urawa Reds Kick Off Talk Show” was held at Urawa Parco at 3 pm on 28th February. Norihiro Yamagishi, Keita Suzuki and Yuki Abe participated in the event.

The specially organized event space on the 4th floor attracted many people. As the building has an open ceiling structure, a lot of people lean forward from the 5th floor to watch the talk show. In total, about 500 audiences listened to the 3 players’ talk.

The talk show, which lasted for about 40 minutes, was hosted by Reds ex-player, Mr Takeshi Mizuuchi. They talked about the team’s condition and new players, and shared some interesting stories from the training camp. When asked about the J.League opening game against Kashima Antlers, which is around the corner and the first game of the season for Urawa Reds, the 3 players expressed their enthusiasms.

“We lost 2 games against Kashima last year. We have to change the course”, Yamagishi stressed. Then Abe said, “I want to play my best because I want our supporters to see different Reds although the opponent team is the same as last year”, implying that Urawa Reds will improve with Team Manager Finke being in charge for the 2nd year.
