To commemorate Saitama Soccer 100-year History, 2 Reds players, Hideki Uchidate and Satoshi Horinouchi, attended “Soccer Talk” in “Saitama Soccer Conference” held at Comunale on the 10th floor of Urawa PARCO on the 11th of October.
They talked about how they started playing soccer and the soccer environment in Urawa City.
“Soccer was naturally in my life. Almost all the elementary schools in Urawa have soccer clubs. I suppose most of the people here are involved in soccer to a certain extent in some way or another”, said Uchidate.
Horinouchi followed, “It was so natural to live with soccer. I did not even really feel that Urawa was some special soccer city as it was nothing new to me.”
After that, photos of the 2 players when they were in the soccer sports club were showed to the audience. Interviews of coaches and team mates from the sports clubs were also shown. About 270 people in the audience laughed and gave the players a round of applause as they enjoyed the talk show. Before the event ended, a meet the fans session was held.
